The short version: I run analytics on this site, and I only get your email address if you deliberately ask me for something. I don't sell anything to anyone.

Who I am
Ready. Operate. is a marketing operations practice run by Matt Martin. Agent Ready Lab is its AI-visibility practice, not a separate company. If you want anything on this page actioned, email me and I'll do it myself. There is no privacy department to route you through.
What I collect
- Analytics. This site uses PostHog and Google Analytics to record page views and which links get clicked, so I can tell what's working. Between them they set cookies and record a truncated IP address. I don't build advertising profiles from it, and I don't run ads off it.
- The domain you check. When you run the free Agent-Readiness Check, the domain you type is sent to the scoring service so it can read that site's public pages. That's a public website address, not personal information.
- Your email, only if you ask. The score itself needs no email. If you request the full written findings, the address you enter is submitted through Formspree and comes to me. I use it to send you the audit and to follow up about it. Nothing else.
- Whatever you tell me. If you book a call or email me, I keep the notes and correspondence needed to do the work.
What the free check does not do. It reads public pages only. It never logs into anything you own, requests credentials, or touches your systems. You can run it on your own domain, or on a competitor's, without either of you granting access, which is the whole point of it.
What I don't do
- I don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
- I don't add you to a marketing list because you ran a check.
- I don't run ad-network retargeting pixels on this site.
Who else touches it
Only the services required to run the site, each handling its own slice: Vercel (hosting and server logs), PostHog and Google Analytics (analytics), Formspree (the audit-request form), and Cal.com (booking, if you book; it writes the event to my Google Calendar). They act as processors for me, not for themselves.
How long I keep it
Analytics data ages out on PostHog's and Google Analytics' retention schedules. Email correspondence and client work I keep for as long as the working relationship and my tax records require, and then I delete it.
Your choices
Ask me and I will tell you what I hold on you, correct it, or delete it. No form, no verification hoop, just email. You can also block analytics cookies in your browser and the site will work exactly the same.
Children
This is a business-to-business service and isn't directed at anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially I'll update the date at the top rather than quietly editing it.
